Contest Rules
1.) The questions
should be suitable for K12 and high
school students.
2.) The First person who answers the question,
with a mathematically correct answer will get 3 points and he should ask the next
question.
3.) If no body provides a mathematically correct
answer after 24 hours, the person who put the question will get 1 point and
should provide the solution within 12 hours and ask a new
question.
In case he fails to do so , he will loose that point and the
Supervisor will ask a new question.
4.) In case a poster provided a mathematically incomplete answer he will get
2 points and has the right to ask the next question
.The person who completes the answer (or provides a new answer) will
get 1 point
Incomplete answer: when a poster submits a well defined mathematical
solutions but misses some cases
(not taking negative integers into consideration for example)
or proves a required part and leaves other(s).
An answer such as :
x = 2 will neither be considered as an answer nor as an incomplete
answer.
5.) Any one who provides another mathematically complete solution to any question after it
has been answered) will get 1 point regardless of the
number of solutions. If it is not complete ,it
won't be counted.
6.) Any one who provides a wrong solution will loose 1 point
simple errors may be disregarded.
7.) All questions and answers will posted in the main
page of our website together with top scorers names.
8.) The jury will decide about how suitable the questions are
and will ask the poster to submit another question in case of
inadequacy.
9.) Complaints :in case a participant has a complain ,he
should address the jury members: kstahmer ,mathyards via Private Messages system in the
Forums.
